Jamie has known he wanted
to be involved with the news media for as long
as he could remember.
Shortly
after learning to write, he created a newspaper
on an old Tandy computer that he distributed to
some neighbors. In sixth grade he formed a
newspaper that continues
to this day. In high school, he was the editor of his school newspaper his senior year. He served as his campus newspaper editor from the end of his sophomore year through graduation.

Jamie was the afternoon and
evening news editor of NBC's flagship Web site,
NBCNewYork.com for a year beginning in December
2007. There, he crafted
mutlimedia content, coordinate with bloggers and covered major stories.

Jamie wrote news, features
and business stories for Southwestern
Fairfield County's
largest daily newspaper for a year and a half beginning in July, 2006. He also kept relationships with individuals and organizations along the Gold Coast.

Jamie began his career at
the state's second largest newspaper. His
relationship with the daily publication started
his freshman year of high school as an intern
and later became a freelancer. He was a founding
member of the paper's CTTeens
section, and is currently an advisor to the high
school writing and design program.
